AGS is seeking to fulfil vacancy for the following possession: 

Position: Purchase Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILS: 
· Bachelor’s Degree preferably with major in Supply Chain Management.
· Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in Food Industry.
· Excellent negotiation skills, organization skills & communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Positive attitude towards local environment, multinational & multicultural environment.
· Fluency in English. Spoken Arabic is a plus.
· Proficient in MS Office.
· Experienced in managing Purchase Management/Warehouse Software.
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Consolidate requisitions from the sites & generate RFQ to the suppliers.
· Conduct periodical tenders & negotiate effectively for the supply of regular items and selecting the suitable suppliers for food, cleaning, disposables items, stationery, kitchen utensils/equipment, and assets purchase.
· Prepare Purchase Orders to the selected suppliers and ensure that the goods are received at Warehouse or delivered to the sites as planned.
Identify new suppliers for products or services required & recommend to the Supply Chain Manager.
· Monitor performance of suppliers in terms of product quality, timely delivery, and prices.
· Ensure stock level of products are well maintained.
· Plan & ensure timely delivery of goods to all sites in temperature-controlled vehicles.
· Ensure the offshore containers are timely certified & well maintained.
· Co-ordinate with Offshore team to ensure timely delivery of goods to the ports.
· Suggest suitable substitutes to the operations team in case of non-availability of products/ new cost-effective products.
· Plan delivery schedule to all the sites based on the availability of vehicles, ensuring 100% delivery to the sites.
· Monitor & control products costs, payroll costs, logistics costs thereby meeting targets set by the management.
· Work closely with operations team to explore & implement new ideas leading to better financial gains for the company.
· Carry out price analysis, market surveys to find out market fluctuations and product availability.
· Effectively manage staff, warehouse, and vehicles of the department.
· Report to the management regarding market trends on regular basis.
· Work closely with Business Development team in providing the costing for new projects.
· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance to QHSE standards of the Co.
