Sous Chef (Italian cuisine)
In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
Essential:
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a Culinary manager level role
- Demonstrated culinary experience in Emirati and Indian cuisine
- Ability to communicate in Arabic
- Proven knowledge of Emirati cuisine and executing recipes
- Effective oral and written communications skills in English
- Possess good interpersonal skills for interacting with people
- A team player and have the ability of meeting assigned targets
- Multi-tasking, problem-solving, and judgment skills
Desirable:
- Tertiary Certificate or Diploma in a Hospitality related field
- Previous experience in a similar role in Hospitality in the U.A.E.
- Possess good leadership qualities
- Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to calculate simple mathematics and collect different modes of payment accurately
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic integrated resort environment
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment and to stand for long hours
- Work on a rotating shift including weekends and public holidays
- Available for overtime work as schedule requires
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours
Chef De Partie (Casual restaurant)
In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
Essential:
- Male or female with a pleasing personality
- Willing to work in a team
- Able to deal with people of different nationalities and religions At least 5 years in the Kitchen.
- Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year At least two years in a five-star hotel
- Good communicator
- Leadership
- Team player
- Take on responsibility
Desirable:
- Demonstrate a passion for quality and cooking
- Able to deal with people of different nationalities and religions
Commis I (Continental)
In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
- Must be able to pass a Food Handler Test and meet local requirements
- One year of experience within a customer or guest service related field is preferred.
- Experience in food production and/ or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling, inventory handling, and of point of sale (register) systems is helpful.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills are required.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative.
- Dedicated to providing outstanding guest service.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure
- Communication skills are written and verbal required
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site and to interact with guests and other employees.
- Ability to lift and move up to 12kg, and in some cases to do so repetitively.
- Ability to lift and move up to 12kg over your head occasionally
- Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support park operations.
- Must conform to park wardrobe and grooming guidelines.
